The 26th Annual Delaware SHRM Conference and Expo is built around one theme:

We're looking for speakers who can bring that to life. Topics of interest include:

Your proposal should connect clearly to The Human Reset theme and show how your session supports the people doing the work.

How to Submit a Speaker Proposal:

SUBMIT A PROPOSAL
Be prepared with the following information:
Session title, format, and description
3–5 measurable learning objectives
Speaker bio & credentials
Past speaking experience/references
HRCI/SHRM credit category (if applicable)
Up to two proposals per organization
Complete all fields — no TBD entries
Session Formats:
Keynote: 45-60 minutes, high-impact, conference-wide inspiration
Breakout Session: 45 minutes, best practices, solo or co-presenters
Panel: 45 minutes, up to three thought leaders, multiple perspectives
Roundtable: 45 minutes, facilitated peer-to-peer small group learning
Spotlight: 20 minutes, rapid-fire, concise actional insights.
Speaker Benefits:
Complimentary two-day registration (up to two co-presenters)
Professional visibility: conference website, app, and marketing
Access to the full event, including keynotes, breakouts, meals, and networking events
Speaker Commitment:
Available October 7 or 8, 2026 — accept assigned time slot
Deliver educational, non-commercial session (no sales pitches)
Promote involvement at the event by sharing graphics and information on social media
Submit final slide deck by September 1, 2026
Engage with attendees via conference app
Use professional language aligned with Human Reset values
Selection Criteria:
Theme Alignment: Clearly ties to Real People. Real Work. Real Results.
Engagement Approach: Interactive elements, diverse methods, adult learning fit
Clarity of Proposal: Compelling title, 3–5 measurable learning objectives, logical structure
Presenter Qualifications: Relevant expertise, speaking experience, diversity of perspective
Learning Impact: Practical tools, business impact, HRCI/SHRM credit potential
Audience Relevance: Appeals to multiple levels; relevant to DE & regional HR professionals
*Priority given to sessions qualifying for Business/Strategic recertification credit & breadth of conference program
Selection Timeline:
June 1 - Proposal deadline
July 10 - Selection decisions and marketing launch
July 13 - Speaker lineup announced
Sept 1 - Final slide deck due
October 7-8, Conference takes place
